Volunteers needed for an online survey to test and feedback on new materials developed by a pharmaceutical company for people with adrenal insufficiency taking cortisol replacement therapy

Previous research has identified that more could be done to support patients to manage cortisol replacement therapy for adrenal insufficiency (AI). Therefore, a pharmaceutical company has collaborated with Spoonful of Sugar, healthcare professional experts in AI and patients with AI to develop the Need for Change (N4C) materials to support self-management of the condition.

Spoonful of Sugar is looking for volunteers to test, review and provide feedback on the N4C materials, which consists of a questionnaire and accompanying patient information booklet, via an online research survey.

The market research should take approximately 45-50 minutes to complete (30 minutes to review the materials and 15-20 minutes to answer 40 questions). Participants who complete the online survey will receive a £30 Amazon voucher. To be able to participate in the research you need to have access to the internet, be 18 years or older, diagnosed with primary or secondary AI and on cortisol replacement therapy such as hydrocortisone. The online survey will close once 100 participants have completed it. For more information, and to take part in the survey, please follow this link through to the survey.

A pharmaceutical company has initiated and funded the development of the N4C materials and this market research. This market research is non-promotional in nature, and abides by all industry guidelines.

If you have any questions about this research project, please do not hesitate to contact Dora Phillips from Spoonful of Sugar at dora@sos-adherence.co.uk or on 0203 515 5550.
