Rage

Rage

Postby member_31784 » Thu Mar 15, 2018 9:36 pm

I can vent this here because I know you’ll understand but even after 14 years of panhypopitiutarism there are days when I rage against it. Just now I injected my gh and rage overtook me, “I hate this” “ what’s normal about stuffing pills down myself all day.....” I just stopped myself from throwing crockery across the floor. Usually I’m very phlegmatic about my condition and carry on regardless but at times rage and frustration rise to the surface. I think this was brought on my an ill-informed alternative therapist who told me “we are working towards stopping your dependence on cortisol” - she won’t make that mistake again!
Sorry to fume and thanks.

Feel free to have a good vent. We all need to at times - I'm particularly sensitive to the bit about stuff in pills all day since I'm now taking 12 Gabapentin tablets a day as well as the hydrocortisone, thyroxine, statin, two blood pressure drugs and 4 hourly paracetamol with occasional codeine.

Maybe rage is a positive thing, it's a better reaction than sadness or depression

Glad to hear your feeling better
