Adrinals removal

Hi,
I have seen many posts about the removal of part of the pituitary. My wife is being operated for Cushing´s in a couple of weeks to have the adrenals removed, as the tumour in the pituitaty is nowhere to be seen after many mris of the pituitary and the rest of the body to check for other sources.
Has anybody gone through this procedure? what can we expect after it?
