Social Media

Hi there

I am an avid Twitter user (not very keen on Facebook) and read a few blogs. Apart from the wonderful Pituitary Foundation Twitter feed ;) has anyone else spotted any useful/interesting Pituitary related sites out there?

I'm always looking to increase my knowledge of my condition, and other peoples experiences seem one of the best ways to do that.

I know that you said you are not very keen on Facebook, but there is a very good, active Facebook closed group called Acromegaly Support if that is relevant? (also a girl only offshoot of that group - though I'm pretty sure that's not relevant!). It's got about 750 members and I find it supportive with some very knowledgeable members and also interesting to hear the international perspective.

Hi Carl

I cannot recall where I found this link so I apologise if you already have this info: http://www.endocrinology.org/about/

I have found it useful, although I tend to use pituitary.org.uk most of the time.

Good luck.

Jenny
