Actually lost weight

Actually lost weight

Postby member_31784 » Mon Mar 02, 2015 5:59 pm

I am celebrating finally losing some weight (6kg over 8 months) after many years of plateauing. I think it may be down to the addition of T5 to my medication routine. Fingers crossed I'll lose some more.

is this the T5 that is marketed as a 'fat burner'?
if so, did you get it on prescription?
are the endocrine team OK with it?
also, what side effects etc?
sounds interesting.....

Hi Plum

Fully legit T5 - liothyronine prescribed by my lovely endo not for weight loss but to help with exhaustion which it has too.

Dont think it works for everyone but some people react well to it. Trial and error as ever with pit problems.

Cheers Kare

oooh
like the sounds of that.
will mention it the next time i see endo.
he will be quite shocked since i am so anti-meds of any type but there again, if there is something that has a positive effect (as opposed to just trying to slow down a negative effect) then may as well add it to the cocktail.

I'm not one for too many meds but usually my endo has been right. It doesn't suit everyone but worth a try .
