Tee Hee! Sorry guys I reckon you are only young nowadays if you are under 20! Mind you I'm 57 so it doesn't leave much for me! ;)

Well I think you're all very welcome in the younger persons club. And Desperate Dan; 34 is young - still closer to 30 than 40!

I'm 28 with a pituitary macroadenoma. My med list is: thyroxine, HRT, growth hormone and desmospray (for DI). Would love to get in touch with any 'younger persons', particularly in the London area to share similar experiences with.

Anyone out there had to deal with Charing Cross hospital?

Hi Coco,

Thanks for letting me in the younger person club  , not had any dealings with Charing Cross hospital as i am based in West Yorks, i do a lot of travelling around the country with my work but only venture into London a couple of times a year.

I'm on meds - Growth Hormone, Nebido (Testosterone), Thyroxine, Cabergoline and loads and loads of caffeine to keep me going ;)

Had surgery Sept 08 to remove pit tumour which wasnt 100% succesful as some still remains but not causing me any probs and all my levels are now stable but took over a year to get to that stage.

There doesnt seem to be many of us around in our 20's and 30's, was hoping a few more would make an appearance to share experiences as you say.

34 here and I feel young!

Macro prolactinoma here was discovered about 18 months ago by optician - since been taking my wonder drug cabergoline which seems to have brought everything into line.

Hello! I'm 33. Not sure I feel all that young though.

I had surgery in for a Rathke's Cleft Cyst in July 2008 and since then am on thyroxine, HRT, hydrocortisone. Doing well now. Actually, thanks to the wonders of modern medicine have managed to get pregnant, so I'm on a new hormonal journey now.

Good to hear from others.
