Christmas 2010

In the lead up to Christmas there are plenty of ways you can get further involved to support The Foundation. :P

Santa 5k Dash
For the first time, we will be entering a team in a 5k Santa Run event in Greenwich Park, London on Sunday, 5th December 2010. Every person entering the event gets a santa suit and you wear the 'suit' whilst doing the event and to complete the course! There are expected to be thousands of ‘santas’ on the day participating for various charities. We've had a great response so far and already got a number of people signed up. We have a few places still available, so it would be great if you joined the Pituitary Foundation team!

The event is a fun run so it's completely up to you whether you walk, run, or jog your way to the finish line. Greenwich Park is a parkland venue offering the perfect setting for the Santa Run and a fantastic way to kick-start the festive season! You will even receive a free Santa suit!

Christmas Cards
The Foundation's Christmas cards are now available and, this year, we have a lovely new design in our collection - A Penguin Christmas by ten year-old Phoebe Fox. Last year, we raised almost £2,300 through the sale of our cards.

Christmas Raffle
For the first time ever, we are holding a national Christmas Raffle to help raise funds.
With over £500 worth of prizes available, by taking part you could win a great present just in time for Christmas! Each ticket costs £1.00 and by participating you will spread some festive cheer by helping us to fund our vital work. You could have a chance of winning one of these prizes:
1st prize £250 cash
2nd prize £100 cash
Runner up prizes £50 cash, a commissioned painting, 3-course Sunday lunch (donated by the Holiday Inn, Newport).
