Cold weather

Cold weather

Postby member_39544 » Fri Nov 30, 2012 8:52 am

I am wondering if anyone else is finding the cold and rainy weather difficult to cope with?
My dexterity is worse and I am forever fumbling with packets, food for example, paper, and general coping with simple tasks around the house. I get very frustrated and sometimes have to walk away from what I am doing. Is this normal? :?

Thanks, Christine

Being sensitive to cold weather (including having cold hands and feet) can be a symptom of under active thyroid.

hi

yes i feel the cold very badly in my hands and it seems to be worst if my body is cold. sometimes my fingers go white at the tips - i think it's called reynauds or something.
and as for my toes......i lose feeling in them regularly

am due to have blood tests in a month or so therefore will look out for the thyroid values.

thanks and good luck
